Bringing people together and celebrating life brings me so much happiness. It’s a part of who I am and what I was born to do. Since becoming a celebrant, I’ve discovered what “living your purpose” truly means — and it’s this heartfelt passion that I bring to every single ceremony.
I have been a marriage celebrant since 2013 and a nurse for 30 years (showing my age!). Both roles have given me a deep appreciation for people, their stories, and the importance of creating meaningful moments.
I’m happily married to John, my partner-in-crime and biggest supporter. He’s the one who keeps me grounded, makes me laugh, and reminds me daily how lucky I am to share this life with him. Together we’re raising our two sassy daughters, Grace and Lara, who inspire me constantly with their determination, empathy, and zest for life. They remind me every day what truly matters.
At home, things are never quiet thanks to our Kelpie dog, our cat, plus a lively bunch of chooks and rabbits. When I’m not wrangling kids and pets, you’ll probably find me with a glass of wine in one hand and a cheese platter in the other or out enjoying the beach with my family.
Living in Mandurah is a blessing. After travelling the world and exploring Australia, I truly believe it’s the most amazing place to live and raise a family. The coastal lifestyle, the community, and the beauty of this region make it the perfect backdrop for celebrating love.
At the heart of it all, I’m here to make your ceremony relaxed, joyful, and unforgettable — a true reflection of your love story, with plenty of memorable moments and maybe a happy tear or two.
The Marriage Office Difference
The Marriage Office Mandurah was created to give couples a simple, heartfelt way to say “I do” without the stress or expense of a big wedding. Michelle built something truly special here — a place where love could be celebrated legally and locally, with warmth and elegance, right by the waterfront.
As the new owner, I’m honoured to continue Michelle’s amazing work and carry forward her vision. My goal is to grow the Marriage Office into something the Mandurah community truly needs: a welcoming space for couples who want an easy, affordable, yet beautiful registry-style wedding.
Here, you can avoid the chaos of the city and enjoy a ceremony that feels personal, not rushed. Unlike the “conveyor belt” experience of city registry offices, our space gives you time to soak in the moment, take photos, and celebrate without being pushed out before the next couple arrives.
With stunning views of Mandurah’s marina, you’ll have the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and photos. And afterwards, you can continue the celebration with a meal or drinks at one of the many amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance.

- I can assist you with completing your Notice of Intended Marriage document, are easily contactable and are on this exciting journey with you.
- The Marriage Office has air con/heating so whatever the weather we literally have you and your guests covered.
- We have lots of beautiful props and designated areas for some stunning photos, including outside on the Marina and around the corner to the beach.
- We have a designated parking bay for the wedding car, and there is free parking nearby for your guests.
- We are within easy walking distance to many hospitality establishments and accommodation to help with your celebrations
- We are friendly, inclusive and accessible for all.

- We can connect you to many wedding professionals through our wedding directory.
- You will know your Celebrant, so if you have any questions or wanting to personalise your ceremony you can contact either myself or your Celebrant and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
- Your wedding day will not be rushed as we allocate you plenty of time to enjoy the moment, and plenty of time in between bookings so you have peace of mind that you and your partner are put first.
