Beautiful Basics is for couples who want more than signing the legal paperwork in an office, but don’t want the fuss or formality of a full traditional wedding ceremony.
It might be just the two of you and your witnesses, or you might want your parents, kids or a few close friends there too. Maybe you’re quietly eloping and keeping the whole thing to yourselves.
However simple you keep it, it’s still your wedding. It should feel special, romantic and like the two of you. That’s what Beautiful Basics is all about.
The Beautiful Basics Includes:
- Initial consultation in person or online
- Help completing your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)
- Shelly as your authorised marriage celebrant
- Your legal registry-style marriage
- The styled and furnished Serenity Room
- Up to 30 minutes’ use of the venue
- Wedding-car parking bay for 30 minutes

Before You Book
Getting married is pretty straightforward, but there are a few things you’ll need to organise first. If you’re not sure where to start, our How to Get Married in Perth guide takes you through the whole process step by step.
One important thing to know: you must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before you marry.

You can still walk down the aisle, exchange rings and personal vows, have your favourite people with you and get married somewhere beautiful.
Want something even simpler? Legals Only is just you, your witnesses and the legal bits.
Planning a small wedding with a few more guests? The Full Ceremony gives you more time and a personalised wedding ceremony.

And Then You’re Married…
Step outside and you’re already at Mandurah Marina.
Take some wedding photos by the water, then wander down to one of the nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner, have a few celebratory drinks, or stay overnight and make a little getaway of it.
That’s one of the lovely things about keeping your wedding simple. Once you’re married, the rest of the day is yours.
Get married, share a beautiful meal with your favourite people, watch the sun go down over the Marina and wake up by the coast the next morning.
